REGIONAL CUISINES OF THAILAND

Welcome to Lom Wong! We celebrate the diverse people and cultures of Thailand by cooking the types of food that one would find in villages and small towns across the different regions of the country. Additionally, we tell the stories of the amazing people who honored us teaching us their recipes.

We started Lom Wong as a way to remain connected to our collective friends and families across the country. Our mission is to be sincere to the ingredients, techniques and service styles that one would find in the villages and towns that inspired our concept.

  2. What is Lom Wong’s service style? Our style reflects how food is served in the communities Yotaka and Alex lived and worked in Thailand. Food comes out as it’s ready and is meant to be shared, meaning we send out multiple dishes at once. Food is meant to be eaten with a fork and spoon, or sticky rice. While we understand this is different from European and American styles of service, our goal is to showcase what we love about the cultures and cuisines of Thailand.

These days we are able to customize the experience a bit, so if there is a dish you know you must have, or are allergic to something, we can cater to your party so you have the best possible experience!
